The Nebaj Language School
 The
School was created with a vision towards both creating
economic opportunities for local teachers, home stay
families and artisans as well as attracting adventurous
people to this amazing part of the world. Our goal is
quite simply to provide top-notch Spanish Language training
in what many consider to be their favorite spot in Guatemala.
Classes are structured in a one-on-one
format and are offered Mondays through Fridays. Although
our basic class format consists of either a morning session
from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or an afternoon session from
2:00 PM. to 6:00 PM, we realize that everyone has different
needs and we will try to accommodate what the student
wants whenever humanly possible.
Want to study more intensively? We'll
accommodate you.
Want to go hiking in the mountains one
morning and take an afternoon class instead of your normal
morning session? Who are we to say "No"?!

School Offers the "Nebaj Experience" package
for learning Spanish and experiencing local culture.
With the N ebaj Experience package,

- 20 hours of Spanish lessons

Want to take a day off during the week
and study on Saturday instead? That's fine. We'll accommodate
you. We strive to provide as much flexibility as possible
to help make your stay the most rewarding and enjoyable
as we can. We realize you may not be here just to study,
but rather to enjoy the hiking, learn about the culture,
participate in local activities and volunteering opportunities,
and pass the time with new friends. 
Most importantly, we know that in order
to be successful we need to provide excellent service
and resources. We recognize that there are many schools
to choose from in Guatemala and thus feel a great responsibility
to prove that you have made the right choice in studying
at NLS. You will not be another face in the crowd at
NLS. We respect your decisions and opinions and will
work our hardest to give you the best language learning
experience possible.
Quite simply, studying in Nebaj at NLS

by a volunteer and local teacher with three goals in
mind:

for the student

someone to go to with whatever idea, suggestion or

teachers but their primary focus is to TEACH SPANISH.
